I'm two months into my chicken adventure now.. I bought four 4 wk old chicks the first week in May. One was supposed to be a Buff Orpington... but looking at pictures posted on this forum, I'm wondering if this one isn't something else, or a mix? I have not seen the fluffy cheek feathers on other B.O. pics.. Also, this chicken just looks different (more angular) and I think I may have a rooster.. But since it's the only B.O... I have nothing to compare.. Also, the legs are green, not yellow.. Regardless of what it is, I really like this bird. I've been enjoying reading the forums and am grateful for any help.

I'm pretty sure you have a Easter Egger female. She's beautiful!

Thank-you! I thought Easter Egger might have been the answer... She's a delight, whatever she is.. Colored eggs would just be a bonus! Thanks for the expert opinions, they are much appreciated.
