Something got my chicken :(

I'm sorry :( It mightve been another animal. I suggest you look up are cats afraid of chickens? because my chickens chase away cats but your chickens might be different. It is totally not your fault. We all make mistakes and forget. They will forever be in our hearts and just know that they are in a better place now :(
I raised them from fluff balls. They squat to be picked up. They're not mean at all, maybe I made them too docile. Maybe Most Def died protecting Black Daisy. I don't do normal house pets, I love farm animals. I know it's the food chain, but pets don't belong in food chain.

Some cats are, but most of the time it's the feral ones or the ones linked with rabies that put up a fight. But most of them are skeptical about going up to a chicken because cats hunt rats and mice and they don't usually go up to an animal their size. But if they do end up attacking the chickens, the chickens usually do as much damage to the cat as the cat does to them.

I know we have ferals, but the only one that looks threatening is a tall skinny tom, but I only saw him at night.

I feel awful though, all I can think about is them bawking for help and my stupid short term memory failing, how I hope it was quick and painless.

Head missing sounds like raccoon
Feral cats get spooked also
Skunks just kill for fun
Foxes will only kill one and take it away
Dogs can climb chain link and just do it for sport
Owls and hawks pluck the feathers
Coyotes will carry it away
All of these animals can be found anywhere any neighborhood any city

Raccoons are also able to pluck feathers as they have a very strong human like grip
