Something has smashed open and eaten my first duck egg

This annoyed me as I wanted to try it, I would like to know who might have eaten it and how I con stop this. The poor Pekin duck was exhausted and the egg went to waste. I have 11 hens and 4 ducks in the coop, who is it?

It could be the other hens/ducks or a predator...

We'll I got another egg today layer in the middle of the coop hat wasn't damaged, I will keep you posted

Yeah smashed eggs happen every once in a while with that many birds in the coop. Probably not a predator
