Something is up with Drake

Okay about a month or so ago his green feathers turned greyish and now his grey feather's that had been on his body for a year, turned brown, he looks like a female now, his tail curls are now laying flat! is this a molt of some sort, or is he turning into a girl or what?! He's never hissed or been mean to anyone, he hissed when he had been injured a few months ago, which this all started when he healed, just got some female ducks a few months ago also, could this bee why, looking pretty for them?!

Can you post some before and after pics and what breed are we talking about?
 
What kind of ducks are they? Mallard drakes (and so maybe some Mallard-derived breeds?) may go through an eclipse phase where they take on female feathering after mating season is over. He should still generally have a greenish head, though.
