Something poisoned my duck!

My 1 month old Pekin duck and Toulouse goose were possibly poisoned by something. They and their sisters were foraging in the woods near our house (in Alaska) and the duck was found dead about an hour later. The goose is very sick and clinging to life. Any ideas. I didn't think that there would be anything poisonous to eat out there. Anyone knows of wild poisonous plants that can kill ducks/geese?

So sorry for your loss! I am not sure what could kill them from foraging. . .could it be a synthetic material that they injested? Also what are you doing to treat the goose? supplements or any medications?
