Something seems different..

Okay, so I posted flock pictures here like last week or close to it and I pretty much confirmed my suspicion that I have all hens. But I’m outside with my flock right now and my black copper marans tail looks dramatically different than it did just yesterday. Am I crazy or did I just overlook “her”. I only have 1 BCM and it’s the only one I’ve ever had. First 2 pictures are the ones I posted a week or so ago and the rest were just taken 5 minutes ago..

Now that you say that - I do remember them being labeled mystic marans at TSC. Is that the same? Is it a he or a she? Lol

They're different mixes. Looks pretty female though to me

Its a 'still growing in' pullet tail. Google is almost always misinformed

The tail is irrelevant until you hit full adult plumage.

The saddles are what you need to look at.
