Something to crow about

My Barred Rock roosters are just under four months old and finally have something to crow about apparently, they were crowing this morning!!!!!

I only have one. No crowing yet. I think he's about 4 months old. I crowed at him today (heard about that here). He got really excited and made some very strange noises, but no crowing.
I'm starting to wonder if he's a hen. Not much in the way of tail feathers yet. But then, when we got him (?) his little chicken butt was completely naked! They said he was the only roo they had, so since the little naked butt looked pink and healthy we invited him home. Congratulations on your little crower, I'm envious! Did yours take a long time to get tail feathers?

2dancingrats- they are just now beginning to get some tail feathers, so yeah it's taken a while, I have to admit crowing at mine a time or two, lol they pretty much ignored me.
