It has always been absolutely baffling to me how so many people(esp. grown men) are absolutely terrified of snakes for no real reason, and are not at all hesitant to admit it. Maybe I was just born lacking the fear response to snakes, but it just feels really odd to me to see someone flipping out over something so tiny and so absolutely harmless. Most snakes couldn't hurt you even if they tried, they aren't out to get any of us, and physically they have quite pathetic capabilities, generally speaking. They are basically just a little face on a limbless body. It's just weird to me. Then again, who says I'm normal.
