I honestly don't know if it would help. I would worry about it doing more harm by making it hard for her to swallow, or causing her to panic, injuring herself. You can do some searching on line to see if you find anything about that. The only neck support I've ever done is a rolled up towel or cloth under them, to help support the head and neck.
