Something wrong with one of my RIR Hens

One of my nearly year old RIRs is very lethargic. Not scratching, clucking, or generally active like all the others. She is also very slow moving and stands in one place for several minutes or more. Thoughts???????

Could she be egg bound? Does she squat and act as if she's trying to lay an egg? Does her tail go up and down or does she walk like a penguin? All would indicate possible egg bound in which case a nice long warm soak can help.

Other thought would be worms. Have you wormed her recently? If not, doesn't hurt to try Wazine (added to their water).

Check for mites. Mine acted the same way. Poultry dust and a weeks rest and they were better.
