So, one of my other silkies had gotten canker, somehow he managed to get in contact with what my other rooster got infected with too, I think it was when they were free ranging, I'm not sure. I just finished the treatment with fish zole yesterday. I did the maximum amount of days I was told to(1 pill for 7 days) and one is looking good, despite the lesions on his beak we are trying to take care of, but the other I'm worried about. (The one I'm worried about is the father(Virgil) to the one who's doing good,(Timmy)) There's no canker in their mouths anymore, non that I can see. But Virgil will yawn, looking like he's going to crow and he just started falling to the side. His head does this swaying thing and it seems he can't concentrate. I'm so worried, did the medication do something neurological to him? But if that's the case, why isn't Timmy doing the same thing?? The both had the same exact treatment. We've been giving them "layer" pellets, the who flock gets them, so the boys eat em' too. Some scratch feed occasionally, apple cider vinger in their water, and I've occasionally given these two plain yogurt to help boost everything up. If anyone has any ideas, please tell me!

Why are you so convinced they had canker? There are several other conditions which present very similar to it, the only way to tell is lab testing. As for the neurological signs, have you tried using the chicken symptom checker tool? http://www.poultrydvm.com/views/symptoms.php
Because I had posted a different thread, got some help from other people sending different links and found he had canker. On my thread, you can see pictures of one of them, the other was the same way, just not as bad. This is beside the fact, I'm worried with how Virgil has been acting.
