Something's not right!

Huge improvement overnight! She is eating and drinking well and seems to have more energy. No sign of bloody stool. She looks like a different bird from yesterday! Thanks to all you wonderful folks who walked me through everything yesterday!

UPDATE
She is eating and drinking and poops are normal HOWEVER.... something still just isn't right with this girl. Her left eye is partially closed(right is normal). but my main concern is that she is constantly circling to the left. She walks fine but if the other girls walk away from she literally starts screaming and circling in the same spot.
She cannot or does not want to walk up and down the ramp to the coop. I know it takes some time for them to learn this. I suspect she tumbled down it and knocked herself on the noogin. therefore she is exhibiting neurological signs that were not present before.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have an old thread with all the info on how I dealt with a silkie with head trauma I will do a search and post it. I used a childs dose of predasone to fix it but it took a while.

here it is. It starts off slow but if you read through it you will see all the treatment I did. 1 teaspoon of predasone each day. I used a grape flavored kind that my son had gotten for an illness that I had never used. It took a long time and a lot of care but not only did he get better but he is the lavender rooster I now use for my breeding program and you would never know that he was knocking on deaths door.

good luck!

I have pred and polyvisol.i'm going to withold starting the pred for now.

Made a nice oatmeal mash with a few cat crunchies soaked down and she loves it! Other than the spinning dance and slightly closed eye she looks so much better than last week. Pretty sure she bumped her head.

I still can't help but think she is not 12 weeks old like the rest of the girls. Not only is she half their size but she is extremely needy. Always has to have something touching her. My bigger BO constantly lets her sleep under her and nurtures her as though she is her chick. Weird but sweet!

Thanks again susan!
