Hi All,
There s a wildfire burning precariously close to my house here in Boulder, CO. So far, no evacuation orders, but just in case, what is the best way to transport the ladies? I only have 2 5-week-olds, but I don't have a crate. A box with a top, perhaps?

Thanks in advance!

Yep, cardboard box. If you can keep it mostly dark it will keep them calmer. Holes for air flow. I wouldn't worry about putting food or water, they'll kinda sleep since it's dark. If they're going to be in it more than a few hours give them access to water and food, then remove for further transport.

Stay safe, and good on you for thinking ahead!
