(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, we got our first chickens on 4-24-10
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
we have 12 chickens, 6 are mine and 6 are our neighbors...we are co-cooping, we each have chickens and they will stay in the coop in my yard
(3) What breeds do you have?
we have 4 red sex links, 2 RIR, 2 SLW, 3 Austrolorps, 1 Barred Rock
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
web search, then a friend also told me about you after I had already found you...
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
we like to camp, I LOVE to read!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
WE are a homeschooling family with 3 boys 14 almost 15 and twins who turn 13 this month. I am a SAHM, we have 1 maine coon cat! We live in Melbourne, FL and are trying to do as much backyard farming as we can. we would love to live in the country, but are unable to so we are doing the best with what we have, where we are!
