My boys are very hands off so I've never tried because I don't want them hurt or too stressed. Bingo has always been the quieter one and again, because he's getting older, he's calmed down even more...Awww!!!
I don't mind you being an imposter at all! It's awesome to get pictures of your guinea pigs like that, and they are definitely a lot easier to work with than chickens. Awesome picture!
That said he still didn't really want to sit still at times 
I may try it again soon but far less spontaneously so I'm better prepared and he's more comfortable
