"We aren't letting you go that easily, your apprentice could have been spying on us!" one of the Shadow Clan warriors said.
"calm down-" one of them started, but the Shadow Clan cat had already leapt across the border, landing on Umberstar.

 

[black_cat]

Silvermoon leapt to her leader's aid, hissing and knocking the black she cat off of her leader's back.

 

[BESSIE THE QUAIL]

jay fang hissed lashing out at the mearest shadow clan, careful not to step over the border even though those fox heart totally deserved it

 

[Kale the Quail]

The rest of the patrol leaped across the border and one of them attacked Lemonberry. The other cat was stronger and bigger and Lemonberry fell to the ground. Claws raked down her face before she rolled over, pinning him down. She jumped off him and shoved him towards the border.

Silvermoon leapt onto the black she cat's shoulders, raking her hind claws along her back. The she cat flipped over, squashing Silvermoon. "Ooouf!" With her breath knocked out of her, Silvermoon lay on her back, winded.

 

[Kale the Quail]

blood dripped into her eyes and she shook her head to clear it. Another cat leaped at her from behind and she whirled to face her. The tortishell hissed and tried to claw her shoulder. Lemonberry dodged and raked her claws across the she-cat's side. She hissed and jumped onto Lemonberry's back, forcing her to the ground.

Sparrowfur lept perfectly onto the back of a large Shadow clan warrior. That's the easy part, she thought. Staying on... not so easy! She was shaken off as if she were nothing but an irritating leaf stuck in his fur. "Why do I have to be so bad at this?!" she hissed under her breath, barely dodging the attacker's claw.
