Sprucestar smiled to himself as ha smashed another Windclan can to the grownd. "We will win this battle, once and for all!" He yowled lowdly.

Flickertail grinned as she tackled Umberstar to the ground. "This is what you get, you evil frog-spawn!" She spat. She slashed open his neck, and, to the WindClan cats' horror, he stopped breathing.

All the fighting stopped. Everyone turned to stare at the Shadowclan deputy.
"HOW DARE YOU TAKE ONE OF OUR LEADERS'S LIVES!" One Windclan cat yowled, trying to attack Flickertail, but the others held him back.

 

[Kale the Quail]

Lemonberry froze and a quiet hiss rose from her throat.

"That's against the Warrior Code,"one of them hissed, lashing her tail.
Most of the ShadowClan cats looked discomforted by their clanmate's actions, but Flickertail stood proud, blood still on her claws.
"I've proven my worth," she mewed smugly. "And who cares, anyway? He has more, you know." She rolled her eyes. "We've won." She turned to a clanmate, fear in his eyes. "Go tell the cats at the camp that we've won and that they can leave." He raced off, as Flickertail twitched her ears. Her clanmates solemnly followed her out.
"You let your deputy kill a LEADER," hissed a WindClan cat to Sprucestar.
He shrugged as he turned away, though discomfort clouded his eyes.
