As far as y2k. I seem to remember a lot of work being done to update systems to accommodate y2k. If that work had not been done it would have been a problem.

As far as magic and hogwarts...
I dont think it will be magic like that. I personally think that it will be more along the lines of people gaining a more psychic intuition.
I would like to fly on a broom though. Save me on that gas money

I liked the movie just saw it last week . I just think everyone should be prepared for at least a month of self reliance without having to go shop for anything . but that is hard to do .
