Sure can, my dad was a big believer that a man with pretty daughters is a man who pays for defence training, so while other girls were worring about nails, we had belts to earn. Then came the knife throwing competitions, Mr Saddi did a stint in the coast guard...

check hulu or youtube for episodes silly.

Don't freak out when you go to see shooting stars, we're in the last bits of the persaids metor shower, you may see a few.

OMGosh what a great idea! i was on their site checking out the ISS when it passed by. we ran outside exactly at the time they posted and saw it! it was the best thing i've ever seen....

and yep - nails? hurumph... the only thing my dad and i ever agreed on what that everyone should arm themselves, including girls

Everybody who's interested in doomsday type stuff should read World War Z. It's a really interesting metaphor for what would happen if we had some sort of plague (bird flu, swine flu, END, West Nile, you get the picture)Except the plague is zombies.

I know, tons of people stopped reading at zombies. But it's really well written, presented in the form of a documentary. The story is that somebody goes and interviews survivors from around the world. It's really fun to listen to on audio, but the only version that's availiable is abridged.

My SO's sister is Wiccan, and she thinks 2012 will usher in a new age where magic is more powerful or something . . . I imagine she thinks the earth will start functioning like Hogwarts, which, let's be honest, would be ultra cool. I give that theory as much credit as I give any religious theory, though.

As for me, I just noticed my calender ends on December 31.

I am freaking out over here . . . now I'll have to spend the holidays preparing for the end of the world. Why is the media so silent about this? December 31st, people, this year! Check your calenders!
