i'm goin with a whole lot of hooey as well.

my entire preparedness for Y2K was a case of paper towels, $100 cash (that i needed that weekend anyway), and 2 jugs of water.

however, we did have 4 days without electric over the winter and 2 strange wind storm induced outages last sept.

but just to be safe our slogan around here is: guns, gates, and grow your own poultry

or maybe its: praise God and pass the bacon

i dunno its one of those... anyway we have lots of meat stored on the hoof and our own water source. my biggest concern isnt global annihilation but rather the stupid hick town electric company.

Frankly, I am more worried about Hurricane Bill right now. If that thing goes a little bit south of the predictions.......

then my world could end later this week.
