Hi All,

I am planning on getting some chickens for my land in the next few months. We are living on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica (Nicoya Peninsula) and would be grateful for any advice anyone has for me on all aspects of their care in a tropical climate.
Thank you!

Hi and :welcome

Glad to have you here!
I live in Australia, which is sort of tropical, in some parts anyway.
Chickens get hot pretty easily, make sure they have fresh water all the time and a lot of shade.

Here's a thread. I couldn't find any with a lot of replies, sorry

Don't hesitate to ask any questions though, and enjoy the site. :D

There is a lovely shady area on our land that I think will be perfect for our coop. Thanks again
