Sooner or later?

Hi there,

I have 3 Ameracaunas, about 14 wks, and I have been told different timeframes as to when they will lay. Do different breeds lay earlier than others, or are they all the same? I am getting so excited, and I am also tired of spending about $4 or more on a carton of eggs. Anyway, just thought I would ask. Thanks!

Leghorns and sexlink and comets lay early.(4 mths) I dont know when Ameraucanas time frame is. Cochins generally lay later on (up to 9 mths).
