All 8 of Eliza's fertile eggs are internally pipped and all poking away at the shells! This is my very first hatch so I am extremely excited, although I don't think the excitement will EVER fade no matter how many clutches hatch lmao! It was extremely cool to be able to hear them pecking at their shells and peeping!
I do have a question though....she is also sitting on 3 chicken eggs that are fertile. They have a couple more weeks to go though
I had miscounted days when I put them in her nest and now I'm worried I have doomed them....I'm not sure if I should put them in Ellie's nest or not? I can't remember when she started sitting...I think it was about 2 weeks ago...should they hatch around the same time. I would hate for her to abandon her nest as she's sitting on 12 fertile eggs...
