I think egg bound hens walk upright.

What I mean by penguin walk is that she will be waddling like a penguin, side to side, trying to squat while walking, wings out sometimes, standing up straight. Does that make sense? I don’t have a video, but a quick search on YouTube for a “broody hen walking” may help.

She has just now gone back into the nesting box doing the same thing as before, anymore opinions on broody or eggbound?

It sounds like she is broody.

You can check if she is egg bound by very, very, very slowly and gently inserting a gloved, lubricated finger (with KY jelly or something similar) into her vent and feel for an egg. Insert your finger about 1 inch into her vent (to your second knuckle). If you feel an egg, proceed with egg bound treatment. If not, leave her be.

yup, you have got a broody on your hands. if she is still in the nest tomorrow that will confirm it

Here's my go-to signs of a broody:
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, does she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?

If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.
