Im going to be hatching as many duck eggs as i can get my hand on. The bator is practically new and holds up to 42 eggs

Welcome Buff! lol

It started pourng down rain earlier and i was afraid my ducklings would drown, so I got creative. I hadnt been wearing a shirt since it was so hot and humid out - and the rain comes out of no where! Hard fast and slighty painful. So I start stuffing duckling in my swim trunk pockets ( 0.o ) and run with them to the florida room. I didnt have room for three of them so they followed my pup through the doggy door lol

I just went out and decided to candle my duck eggs. And one screamed at me from inside the egg lol. So I might have babies in the morning or the next day

OMGEEE OMGEEE OMGGGGGGGG!!! Well first off after months and months of searching - I finally got SCOVY !

Some guy had it with his chickens and didnt want it.


But then I came home to a 5 ft chicken snake chowwing down on my eggs

and I didnt even get to kill him! I have ducklings and that means all snakes found are as good as dead. Except for this one. I had it pinned down ready to give it a quick death and my dad starts yelling for me to get away . HELLO! I kill snakes all the time by myself. Yet he still thinks that Im 12 and shouldnt be near them at all.

You finnaly found a muscovy, what color is it?

3 more chicks hatched, one I had to help out, it looks like two are silkies, and the rest are millie fleur d'uccles. they were all supposed to be d'uccles lol, but thats okay. they are so fuzzy and cute.

I guess I'm lucky becuase the only snakes I have seen are garder snakes, but haven't seen one in a few years. But I like snakes, so they wouldn't bother me, but I understand you don't want your duckies to get eaten poor things.

ewww I cant imagine coming into a cage seeing it eating one of my animals or eggs.

What color scovy did you get? thats neat! I honestly cant recall ever seeing one. Mind posting a picture? haha
No baby ducks yet. but I keep checking lol
these are Black East Indies. I am excited I havnt hatched any in almost a year
