So, my littlest chick, Soot, still has her hurt leg. She has had the bandaid splint thingy on for a few days now and it seems to help a little. The toes aren't curled anymore and she can kind of stand, just not all the way. She doesn't seem to be growing as fast as the others and she leans n a tree branch that I put in their tub. Any suggestions to help further along her healing process? On a side note, all the others are doing fantastic! My favorite, Socks, loves me.
I took them outside for a little while today, and Socks ran around for a few mins, then jumped up in my lap and went to sleep. Black Betty and Berta chased each other forever. And the ducklings, whom we still haven't named, LOVED swimming in their little pool. All in all, having fun with my birds.
