We had our first brood about 4 years ago. 6 chickens Ameraucana, White Leghorn and Rhode Island red (2 of each).
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Starting a new brood of 12
(3) What breeds do you have?
6- Barred Plymouth Rock and 6- Black Sex Link
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Having the fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Crafts, Photography, cooking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have two adult children. We have two dogs a 12 year old Maltese and 8 month old Chiweenie. I am a retired school teacher and my husband still works as a technician.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
On the internet 4 years ago. I joined and now am upgrading my info.
