Sore hen booty season

My girls are laying again! Got 8 eggs today, they ended up eating two of them (which is allowed, they only eat them if the shell cracks while in the nesting box and if the shell cracks while it is in the nesting box it goes to the dogs anyways) but my goodness these eggs are HUGE. Cinnamon does lay bigger eggs but she’s nearly 6, fingers crossed she starts laying again this year!! I believe the first two on the left are double yolked. The second on the top of the left us definitely a double yolked

I plan to candle them soon to figure out! I’m giving a class some hatching eggs so it’s a must for both my own curiosity and for safe hatches

Just candled! I can only see two yolks on the second on left side of top. The rest are just big eggs

Yeesh, the width on the second (second and third are the same egg)

My hand is about 7 inches long but those are some size references on the biggest egg I’ve gotten in 2024
