Sore near vent

I noticed one of my young hens has a sore on her butt area near her vent. It’s very hard to the touch but she didn’t seem bothered when we were looking at it. The area was wet down for better visibility but there didn’t seem to be any pus or blood. I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or advice.

Awhile ago some of my older hens had smaller scab things like that. At that time they had mites so I think they were from them.
Are there any sign of mites on her? Could you check your other chickens for similar wounds?

Could be a scab from being picked at or plucked.
Apply triple antibiotic ointment on the scab to help it heal. Check her over for lice/mites would be a good idea too.
