I have the smallest chick have the problem of being pecked behind head on neck by other 2 or 3 chicks. Went to feed store and bought stuff in can to spray on and its blue. tried to put back with others, and they still pecked. seperated again for 2-3 days, still doesn't look much better, and tried to put back in coup, and right away started pecking at her neck. I took her out again just now, and not sure what to do. If I leave her out till totatlly healed, I don't think they will accept her back. The blue spray doesn't seem to help either. The chicks are all 6 weeks old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You might just want to wait until your chick is completely healed before adding her back with the rest. Perhaps try neosporin to heal the wound. Good luck to you!

can you divide the brooder up so the chick that has the wound is able to be in the brooder with it's own water and heat and food but the others can't get to it? or do you know which one of the 2 is the worse and maybe separate it from the hurt chick and the other and put it into the other side of the brooder for a few days to see if when you introduce it back if the pecking stops. the pecking order is being established and you can stir it up a bit by removing the worse of the 2.
just saw another poster tell someone the same thing and this is with older birds.
Another way of discouraging these behaviors is by removing the culprit and separating her for about a couple weeks. A bully, once removed for a few weeks, becomes a "new" chicken, and must fight for its place in the pecking order. Usually, the "new" chicken is so busy fighting for its spot in the pecking order that it has no chance to be a bully any longer. This is what I would recommend as your first step.
