Sore on rooster

Just noticed this on our rooster yesterday when i saw a hen pick at it. Hes about 7 months old and although hes the biggest oldest rooster hes not top dog inthe flock. Our RIR hens are at the top (and who ai caught pecking at his sore). I recently stopped free ranging them because we got another hen that i need to quarantine. Is this from the ladies? Will it be ok if I just leave it alone?

I'd check him all over for mites and lice. If he's got creepies up hear his ears, he may have scratched all his feathers off.

A little Sevin dust treatment on his vent and under his wings should take care of external parasites.

Dab a little Neosporin on his skin and let him heal up!
