Our three week1/2 old chicks have little sores on the bottoms of their feet. Right now their bedding is hay, because it is endless around here as we have draft horses. Could the hay be causing this? one seems to hold a foot outwards when it stands. I have to go to Tractor Supply tommorrow for food for the barn cat, and I think I will get some pine bedding. Any ideas as to what is causing this?
