Help!

A chicken that is dehydrated can't eat. You say she is now drinking the plain water, and now there is food in her crop? Sounds like a good sign. Hope she continues to improve.

Thank you! Yes, I felt food in her crop. She wont eat the yogurt or egg but she's eating her chick feed. I took everything out and wiped with lysol incase there was a mold issue. No bedding in there for now until shes better. How long do you think until I might notice her gasping improving?

She’s got food in her? Oh that’s great!! She’s slowly getting better sounds like. The gasping and stretching, well I like said before could be a respiratory issue. Or maybe it’s just some food or who knows what that’s stuck in her crop? Maybe she got a piece of pine or something. But as long as she keeps drinking and eating even ifs it’s a little bit at a time it may pass. How’s her poop looking?

Brown w/white, looks normal. Not runny. She likes to get up on my shoulder and nestle in my hair, she ended up pooping in it lol. So that was the end of that. She ate and pooped this morning. Waiting to see if she drinks water. I'll check on her in a bit. Still gasping and neck stretching this morning. I tried gently rubbing her neck last night to see if it helped in case something was stuck. Poor girl, I hope she starts to breathe normal soon.

Omg “that was the end of that”. lol. Gently rub the crop. In case there’s something packed in there. And it’s strongly recommended that at night she sleeps in your hair. So don’t deprive her of that. Bad mommy lmao.

Something new I noticed today with her sneezing, she now has a tinge of blood near one nostril. She was moving so much but here's a couple pictures.
