I'm painting the entire exterior and interior of my coop with exterior paint and using exterior grade plywood for the walls, floors, and ceiling. I see lots of recommendations to put flooring in the coop. I will be using a deep litter method. Since it will be a solid sheet and painted is additional flooring needed? I figure just the paint and the plywood grade should stand up to an occasional hose out and from what I understand the poop rarely reaches the floor anyway. Sorry if I'm pestering you all with questions, I've never built a building.

That'll work just fine. You want a floor so mice and predators can't dig in.

Thanks Egghead. Trying to do a secure coop as we have lots of nasty coons a few foxes as well and a coop that will last. OSB, or regular plywood I don't trust to stand up to weather even if it is painted. All is costing me more $$ than I originally thought so using just paint that I already have is a plus, just delaying a few inside house projects, so all good. Matter of my odd priorities.
