Sorry guys. Another vent - this one about ebay

Well I bought an item that came in DOA. Guy said he would refund the money back to my account. Guess what he does after. Puts an unpaid item strike on me. He asked me to pull the negative after a refund. Now he can forget it. Anybody else get one of these?

I haven't had that issue, but I did send a payment to a person once that accepted checks, and they cashed it after about 6 weeks and then said I was a late payer. NICE!

Ugh! Gotta love these kind of sellers huh? I responded to the strike and contacted ebay's live help chat. What ever happened to the honest sellers back in 94?

If, however, he gave you a negative and refunded your monies prior to you giving him ANY type of rating at all.. then that isn't good business practices on his part.

I can see it from both sides as I used to be a seller on eBay and am a buyer as well. It depends on how it all went down.
