So I was given 4 Australian Spotted ducklings last summer and fell in love with them, ended up getting another $ later on in the summer. Out of those 8 I have 1 drake and 2 hens left (predators got my escape artists). My question is how do you tell what color the females are? I obviously know with the males, but I can't seem to find info anywhere on what the differences for females are. My one adult drake is a greenhead, and I'm happy to say we've successfully hatched 2 clutches with another clutch currently pipping. Anyone know?
