Sorting out the ads

I was wondering if there is feature that lets you sort out the classifieds by the area. That would make it so much easier to find out who I would like to buy from if I could choose an option that lets you sort by radius or even state (though Tx would likely need to be divided up so that it isn't so big)

Let me know if anyone knows of this because I would be very interested in it.

Excellent Question. I'm going to see if under the advanced Search it will do that. I'm going to amend one of our postings to say Georgia in it and then see if it comes up in a search. I'm not sure it will come up if in the content, versus the title. Off to check this out. And remember there are chickens and then "other Poultry" listings too..

Okay I changed several of our ads to include word Georgia in the Content of the ad.
It didn't show them. It appears to be picking up Georgia for example when it is in the responses to the ad???? When I searched for Georgia, That is what Happened.... I found other posts by myself and other Georgia folks where persons had asked where a person was located and the response Georgia seemed to trigger my finds. Hopefully a staff can help with more discussion of how to incorporate this in our ads and how you can search for your state of choice... I may just be missing how to do it. Yay! I was hoping someone would try it out. I wasn't sure if I just wasn't able to make this happen or not. So happy to know that I am not the only one that couldn't do it.

I would love to be able to search by zip code. That would be awesome. But I would be just as happy to at least be able to search by state.

Besides the advanced search, you can search each forum. As I understand it, what makes the search feature work well in BST is when the state name is in the title of the ad. Unfortunately, we don't have a feature that lets you search by zip code.

I will remember that. If I post any ads I will make sure to my location in the title so people can find it.
