My very last question I promise:
my last egg just hatched, it has some unabsorbed yolk so I'm leaving it in the incubator. it is cheeping and sleepy like most of my yolk hatches were when they first came out, but one question, it smelled a bit like urine... is that bad? He had nicked his veins a few times so there's dried blood in the equation along with the fact that he was cooking for 30 days... does this sound normal or bacterial in your experience?
I'm glad that he made it!!!update: urine-smelling chick was ok! he was a near loss, but with a little TLC he made it!
