SOS! What on earth?

I agree that some more details would help but this does look like dry chicken pox to me also. Her weakness could be because she is not eating and drinking. It is important that you get food and water in her or she will die. If she is not eating her chicken feed, then I would see if she will eat a scrambled egg. If you can put her in a small pen by herself then its easier to tell if she is eating and drinking. Another thing to do is open her mouth to look for any yellow lesions. If you do see some, then she probably has the wet type pox and unfortunately chickens do not do well with the wet type because it hurts too much to eat and drink.

Take heart in that usually chickens get over dry pox. If she is eating and drinking like normal, then it will just take time to get over it. One of my hens had the worst case of dry pox I've ever seen and two poultry professors at the nearby University said it was the worst case they had ever seen too. It covered her entire face so much that they did not think she would live through it. It took almost two months but she did get over it. She did lose the sight in her right eye because of it but her left eye was fine. She was six years old when she got the pox and she lived three more years without any problems.

my goodness! this is freaking me out... please tell me what exactly yo do.. the things i have done, i've mentioned already...

i think her's is the WET type of fox.

please tell me what else i need to do.....

If it is still dry pox and you can continue to support her with tube feeding, she may be OK. You may see her perk up now that she has a little bit of nutrition. What makes you think it is wet pox? Did you look into her beak?

i think its wet pox for the following reason:-
when i was cleaning the scabs with saline, the scab got removed despite the fact that i didnt clean rigorously, then the area under it had redness and seemed a little wet.

i did look into the beak and it was all clear.

Oh no! I’m so sorry. If you want to know for sure what killed her, refridgerate (don’t freeze) her body. Then find your state necropsy lab’s instructions for sending her body in for testing. In Californiax, it only costs $25. You her to overnight the body on freezer packs and double bagged.

So very sorry for your loss. There could have been something else going on besides the pox. It only seems like dry pox, since you said inside her beak and throat did not have any yellow patches. The wet form of pox only affects inside the beak, throat, windpipe, and esophagus. In Pakistan is there anywhere to get a necropsy or testing on her body? If there is a lab or vet that can do a necropsy, the body should be kept cold, but not frozen until it is done.

I'm so very sorry. :hugs
As already stated, necropsy would be the best way to know exactly what happened. She may have had more than one issue going on.
