Sounds that you love.

quick explanation: I'm synesthetic (why does this keep coming up today??) so that means that I "see" sound and other sensations.

rain on the pond- looks like tiny little metallic crystals
mourning doves, all blues and browns, like looking down into a tube....
Tenor saxophones- they cover such a range, from deep rumbly mahogany to sweet cool blues and silvers...

that's all I can think of at the moment...

my kids laughing - especially the baby
rain/thunder of course
my horses "talking" to me
my saddle creaking
light wind blowing in the trees
roosters crowing/hens egg song
my husband talking and laughing
sprinklers
engine on husbands boat - just love the noise it makes

my baby bunnies making their squeaky noise when I pick them up (5 days old)

The ocean, waves breaking and crashing into the shore, a gentle breeze, baby belly laughs, the sparrows chirping, song bird's singing, rain going plop plop plop, my dog singing with me, my mother's voice, the popping of glass pipes in a old school low rider, the roar of a beasty engine, and the sound of my husband's heart beating next to my ear while his breath cascades across my forehead. Life wouldn't be the same without it all.

The PEEEEEPPPERS!!! I love them
The wind whispering in the forest, sounds like nature is speaking to me.

Oh, and a sound I miss so much since I've moved from the coast, the wild ocean

That low, breathy nicker that a mare who has just given birth uses when she's talking to her newborn foal.

Gives me goosebumps and makes me tear up just thinking about it..

(who could I breed my mare to this year??)

I have a Rooster I named C.B. like the radio...He is always talking! He will just get up in my lap and lay down, close his eyes and start to coo talk as I pet him! I love that sound!!! I also love whale songs and Thunder storms in the distance!!!

God Bless!

birds singing
waves at the beach
thunderstorms
the calliope that you can hear all over the Quarter and Marigny from the boat on the river in New Orleans

Loons on the lake

The ice cracking on the lake when it's really cold.

The belly laugh of a a child.
