Soup Kitchen for extra roos?

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to donate extra roosters to soup kitchens? Is there a program for that? It would help out everybody. Food for the people that need it and an outlet for extra roos for chicken owners. Do you guys think it would work?

Because of regulations I doubt that they could accept them.

Our local soup kitchen accepts venison if it is processed and packaged, so I assume they would accept roos as well, if they are properly packaged. Can't hurt to call and ask. What a thoughtful thing to do.

Call the soup kitchen and see if they could take them.
