Hello...AGAIN. Lol. So I have a chick that I’m currently treating for coccidia. I posted earlier. She didn’t eat yesterday and hasn’t today, either; but her crop feels mushy. I did mix some yogurt in with her feed, and she ate a smidge of it with my putting some on her beak. Pretty sure it’s sour crop. I smelled her breath, but I don’t smell anything. Should I wait until morning and see if her crop is empty or treat her for sour crop. And if I need to treat her, what’s the best way? I’m seriously wondering if this has been the issue all along or is secondary due to the yogurt. Any help is so appreciated. You guys are a blessing,
She’s lost weight. Her vent is clear. There is dried poop, but I just got home. I just don’t think she’s going to make it. I’m super confused because I thought they couldn’t poop if they had sour crop. Not sure if I’m correct with that.
