Sour Crop?

I was wondering if anyone has experience with sour crop? My chicken has had all the symptoms (water balloon crop feel, smelly breath, very hungry..). She has been on Nystatin for two weeks, little improvement but has started laying again; however extended crop remains. Should I just continue her on the meds or is there another alternative? Should she have something else? I am also giving her garlic and ACV in the water as well as acodophil., daily. Any other suggestions?

Thank you! Believe it or not your posting was helpful. I was able to contact one of the people listed and she explained to me the possibility of using Gentian Violet (1% solution) as well as an avian strain probiotic. I am on my way to get some and we'll give it a try!
