Sour Crop?

I’m VERY new to this. Lady Feathington has been acting like this for a few weeks and it just dawned on me after reading something on here yesterday that something is wrong. I just thought she was hot! It always look likes she’s slouching and her comb is black. She acts like she is tired all the time - normally she would run away when I walk up to pick her up but she just lays there and lets me. She’s eating and drinking, but this morning it was like she couldn’t get enough food - she ate like she hasn’t eaten in days. She’s 20 weeks old. I thought at first she may be getting ready to lay and is egg bound, but it’s too soon for this breed. All signs are pointing to sour crop, I can’t smell anything (my nose isn’t the best). I pulled her out of the run and separated her just in case, giving her yogurt and fluids. I tried to massage the crop and she pulls away like it hurts - but it doesn’t feel “squishy”, it’s not hard. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve waited so long to realize there was an issue - so it could be a number of things and I hope it’s easily corrected. Any advice is appreciated.

Thx - bougie_chix

Kind of runny.

She’s still eating grower feed. Organic. Treats like fruit, veggies, meal worms/crickets and scratch once a week. I was going to switch the big girls to layer feed this week because they are 20 weeks old now. Clean water daily.

What's her poop like?

Is she being kept from food? You took her to food and she ate a lot.

Check her crop first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink.

If the crop is not empty first thing, then begin treat the Crop according to the article below.

While you are checking her out, look her over for lice/mites.
