thanks pwand .had a look throu all their syringes look smaller than what i have. i know i need to suck feathers up it but really im praying she empties tonight. im scared ill damage her or kill her if i get it down the breathing tube!! ill be really careful and if i start and think i might make a mistake im not going to do it. im so back and forth! i know she needs those feathers out but ...... wish one of you was here to hold her

My God look at the size of that! But you know what? think of the chunks of wood Bombie has swallowed. This will probably be nothing to her. LOL. You can do it Shell. I think too they must have alittle flap to cover the wind pipe when they eat. So that might trigger as you pass the tube. I'm not entirely sure of course but trying to look closely at that diagram and think about them as they eat.

your right about the wood chunks!i had thought that myself,i mean if she can swallow those then this should be no bigger. and im sure the vet wouldnt give it if he didnt think i could do it.
gosh ive only had chickens since last march! just my luck to get all this trouble!
i love ghis forum its great to have help and support. i wouldnt have anyone to talk to about all this without you guys!
well checked bombie early before school run. feels smaller but still not right so getting everything ready now to get these feathers out! ill report back when im done.!!
