I am wondering about sources for the Rosambros (which I just found out is a Ross Ambrose, not a Rose Ambrose).

They are $1.20 each for 26 of them through MT-DI. That's a very decent price. But shipping for the 26 birds was $36. That takes the price per bird past what I consider acceptable.

Is there any other place else to buy them? Maybe someplace closer to the west coast so shipping won't be so high? I would sure like to try them.

Sorry, MT-DI is the only source for the Ross Ambro that I know of. You might want to compare prices with McMurray's Cornish Roaster, it's supposed to have the slower growth rates of the Ross Ambro...................... though I have no experience with either.
