Sourdough recipes

I think they should be the same. I've made friendship loaves from sourdough, but haven't tried the Amish ones with the pudding yet (I have the recipes all earmarked though)

Oh wow! Simply amazing. I am going to get some starter going and I would like to make homemade pizza crust with it!!!

I make these at least once a week.

i am so craving some sourdough pancakes. I made my sourdough from wild yeast (no commercial yeast) following the directions here: http://www.breadcetera.com/?p=58. Worked great and I've now kept it alive in the fridge for 2 years. Sometimes I completely abandon it for weeks on end- then take it out and start feeding and it cranks right up. I also found a cool forum here: http://sourdough.com/recipes. Made the pitas last week and we couldn't stop eating them.

I decided to give this a shot. Im not fond of sourdough bread, but everyone else in the house loves it. I started this 3 days ago and its bubbly and smells funky, so I'd say its working!

I've noticed that most of the recipes already posted use baking powder and/or baking soda; does anyone have any that use neither, relying only on the sourdough for the leavening? I've used sourdough for years to make bread and pancakes, but some of the other recipes look too good to pass up...I'd like to avoid the b. powder and b. soda, though.
