South Carolina - Lake Murray area - Chickens Allowed?

Hi,
I am looking at retirement locations in about 7-10 years. My husband is focused on Lake Murray, SC. What are the laws for backyard chickens in that area? I think there are several counties that border the lake, so I'm not sure at which county to look. Is one more chicken friendly than another?

Here I found this, https://library.municode.com/sc/lex...ll be required,allowed on any residential lot. You are allowed to own 4 and none may be roosters
