good to meet all also thankfull the weather did hold out till noon and then just a splash of rain.
The manager of the tsc asked if we do this again to let them know before hand so they can get a flyer out to their customers and let them know about it. We will have to remember their willingness. Unfortunately I didn't aquire any new chickens , but did stop by the local bird show at the jamile temple and got a quartet of lovebirds.

i just wanted to say what a great time meeting everyone at the swap today. when i got up this morning and saw the weather forecast i did not think it was to be. i met some really great people.i now wish i had brought more chicks. the rain helded off until about everyone had left.i seemed to have alot of interest in my birds which i am thankful. i am glad that i brought the pr. of grown speckeld sussex and the trio of blr wyandottes. i sure would like to do this again. but now i need to hatch enuff for myself and a few more. will be putting 40 or 50 eggs in the cooker tonight. thanks to all that bought chicks from me (phoneman) jack

Great time this morning! Amy I was good and only brought home 1 girl..a RIR/EE mix from John. Jack had some beauties and since we live close I might have to talk about some EE's with him

I loved the emu baby...still can't believe it is only a week old and the eggs were great! All in all a great morning and glad the rain held off until we were done.

Guess I better get to hatching some so I have some for the next swap!

Nadine;

I didn't bring anything home

cuz hubby told me if I brought home any more chickens, I'd be sleeping with 'em. I did consider one of the emus - figured they would be big enough to at least keep me warm next winter.

But I did get to meet some great folks and see some beautiful birds! So, it was all good.

I hope that we get to do this next year, maby get some more people, and tell the tsc before we do it too. "The manager of the tsc asked if we do this again to let them know before hand so they can get a flyer out to their customers and let them know about it."

I made a video of my new little fuzzy buts:

Great Pics Blake! I thought about needing to take some on the way home...glad you thought of it!

I sold a RIR/EE mix pullet to Snick. Everyone seemed really interested in her, though. I bought 4 chicks (hopefully at least 1 rooster in the bunch) from Phoneman (Jack).

We definately need to do this again. And I will def make sure I save some birds to take next time. I'm guessing sometime shortly after summer starts (6-21-11).
