Last Saturday I went to a chicken sale and bought 2 RIR hens, 2 barred Rock hens, 2 buff Orpingtons, 1 buff Orpington rooster. I thought that would be plenty, but one week later I now have 3 runs and coops and my chicken flock has now grown to 25 chickens. These chickens are so addictive!!!!! If I don't quit buying chickens my wife is going to put me in the coop with them. One thing about it is that she hasn't had to buy any eggs for breakfast the past week.
